They say, “Calm down, you’re being hysterical.”

You say something like, “Okay, so give me space.”

They counter with actions and reactions and words that say, “No, I’m not going to give you space. I’m going to keep telling you that you’re being hysterical so I can make you more hysterical so I can keep telling you that you’re being too hysterical.”


So watch for that rabbit hole, because people love to take you there.

It’s like poking a hornet’s nest just to tell it that it’s buzzing too loudly.
